I want to thank everyone for doing your part to make Christmas in August a real success. We had to set up two 10 X 10 pop ups because of how many we had there to work.

Cheryl and Benita were able to assist some people in updating their address and answer voter registration questions.

The crowd was very light , however, our impact was strong as we kept it fun with the Republicans as they walked by they got to see were very nice. Calandra's school supplies continue to be a hit with the kids as well as the bags of toys Emery put together. While the kids shopped or got their face painted we were able to introduce ourselves to new friends in the area. I noticed that much of the day our booth was the most active spot on the square. 

We had other vendors coming over at the beginning leaving their samples in our booth to help attract people to our booth.

Art showed his skills engaging with people at the front of our booth, he really can get people to stop and visit while the rest of us talked to their spouses and friends. Calandra  took time to pray with a person who shared that she had a terminal illness. What a powerful witness to see her truly care for someone she does not know and freely offer the comforting prayer.

Remember our goal was to meet new people and let people know we are here in  San Jacinto county. We achieved our goal, it was worth our efforts, in my opinion.

We are off to a fast start in the marathon of this political season. Please do your part to continue our momentum, Kamala Harris and Collin Allred are counting on us to energize our voters on the ground here in San Jacinto county.
